Biography

Pamela Toto, PhD, OTR/L, BCG, FAOTA is an Associate Professor and Program Director for the Doctor of Clinical Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Toto received a BS in Occupational Therapy, an MS in Healthcare Supervision and Management, and a  PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She is Board Certified in Gerontology and a Fellow of  the American Occupational Therapy Associatiom where she served in elected positions including Gerontology Special Interest Section Chairperson, Chairperson of the Special Interest Section Council, and Board of Director. Dr. Toto has over 29 years of clinical, teaching and research experience focusing on productive aging for older adults. Dr. Toto’s research focuses on  implementation of client-centered interventions to promote independence, participation and healthy aging in older adults.
