Continuing Education

The University of Pittsburgh and RSTCe offer CEU's for courses that comply with University of Pittsburgh standards. RSTCe CEU's are accepted by the Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) for certification and re-certification of the Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) as well as the National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (NRRTS) Certified Rehabilitation Technology Supplier (CRTS) credential. RSTCe CEU's are also accepted as PDU's by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). Many state licensing boards will also accept the RSTCe CEU's, however individuals should verify specific requirements with their local boards.

Students interested in an assistive technology continuing education certificate program should visit the RSTCert website and contact Mary Goldberg at mrh35@pitt. edu or 412-822-3700 for more information. Applications for the program which begins in August will be accepted until July 15th.

Scholarships are available to competitive applicants. To apply for both the program and a scholarship, please complete this form.
